Day four has arrived! I won't lie...it was tough to get myself to write today. (As you can see, this is being posted late evening instead of late morning.) I've been feeling sort-of blah, and not in the mood to do anything. But sometimes, that's when it's most important to press on.

Feel free to join in! You can post your own answers in the comments, or feel free to drop a link to wherever you have written your own answers.

Day 4: Write about someone who inspires you…

Wow, there are so many people that I could write about for this one. But today, I am going to go with Katie M. John. For those of you who don't know who Katie is (or the books she writes) you should definitely check her out here.

Katie inspires me in so many ways. Not only is she a lovely, kind, thoughtful person, but she knows what she wants, and does the necessary work to get it. She does research, she works on each area of the business of being an author, and she takes the time to write, and write well. And she's not afraid to reach out for help, or to reach out and help others.

As an author, Katie inspires me to write every story that's inside of me, no matter the genre, or the audience. It may be unconventional in a world where authors stick to one genre, or at least follow what the market is looking for. But the best stories are the ones that are just begging to be told from inside of us, because a writer's heart and soul is poured into them.

Who inspires you?
